Lufthansa Cargo again confers Supplier Awards
Service partners honoured in Munich for outstanding cooperation
At an evening ceremony taking place last Wednesday 5 June 2019 in Munich, Lufthansa Cargo presented the Supplier Awards for the second time. Service providers from all over the world that distinguished themselves in the past through outstanding cooperation were nominated in eleven different categories. In addition to subdivision into the categories of “Best Cooperation” and “Best Performance”, recognition was also given to the best collaboration in the individual regions of Lufthansa Cargo’s business areas of Germany, Europe & Africa, America, Latin America & Caribbean and Asia, as well as at the hubs in Vienna and Frankfurt. With these awards, the cargo airline acknowledges the exceptional cooperation and quality of its worldwide service partners.
“With their expertise, infrastructure, motivation and commitment, our service providers are a vital component of our performance promise and make a lasting contribution to Lufthansa Cargo’s success,” said Thomas Sonntag, Lufthansa Cargo Vice President for Procurement & Infrastructure, after the award ceremony.
